Rainbow Trout and Bear Den Cabin

 What a weekend! The Morris's went to Welches, Oregon this weekend to spend some time with Oma and Opa at a cabin they rent every summer. We had such a great time! We took Ethan fishing on Saturday for the first time and he caught a 19' Rainbow Trout!!! Ethan was so fun to watch as he fished and reeled in his first catch, I love watching him experience new exciting things. He wouldn't eat the fish but he didn't seem to mind the fish cleaning process, which I was worried would gross him out. Sam barbecued up two fish and they were delicious and we have a lot of fish in our freezer for future dinners. Luke is getting his top teeth in so he has had a rough couple of days, poor baby. Luke was up almost all of Saturday night fussing and wanting to be cuddled so hopefully he gets those in soon so we can have our smiley little guy again.

We finally finished our kitchen backsplash, it was more work than we expected it to be but the end result made it so worth the work. I can't wait to get the cabinet "jewellery" up and the rest or my spice jars made. I am posting the current before and afters please excuse the blurry photo I was in a hurry :)
